The first in our series of sours, this is what happens when the Gentleman gets fed up with cold weather and takes a tropical vacation. We take the Gentleman and introduce him to our sour barrels, rich with Brettanomyces, and add 20 pounds of pineapples. The result is a sour beer with no fusel alcohol bite despite its high ABV. Enjoy the Gentleman’s wild side!
Sour Pomegranate Wheat
We tossed original Pomegranate Wheat in our sour barrels and added some raspberry. The results are surprising—the beer certainly stands apart from her younger sibling, Pomegranate Wheat.
The name, which translates to sour barrel, says it all. We take our Le Petomane Saison and introduce him to our sour barrels. The result is one of our favorite beers – a sour Saison with complex tartness and wood notes.
